How to Get to Ahi Mahi Sauna
You’ll find us tucked away beside the Maitai River, within the Maitai Valley Motor Camp. It’s an easy and scenic drive, cycle, or walk from Nelson city centre.
By Car:
Follow Maitai Valley Road. Just before the entrance to the Maitai Valley Motor Camp, you’ll see a sign to turn right to Ahi Mahi Sauna. Follow the dirt road shown on the map.
By Bike:
There is a separate bike track all the way from Nelson along the river bank.
Parking:
Once you reach the end of the track, you’ll see the designated parking area (marked on the map).
Finding the Sauna:
You should be able to see it from the car park, look for our flame logo.
Tip: The walk from the car park takes only a few seconds and offers stunning views of the river — a perfect way to start winding down before your session.
